🏢 Company Formation in Colombia

“Start your business the right way”

From legal structure to tax registration, we help expats launch compliant companies in Colombia.

What’s Included:

  • Entity selection (SAS, sole proprietorship, etc.)
Clients receive tailored guidance on choosing the most appropriate legal entity type in Colombia, such as a Simplified Joint Stock Company (SAS), sole proprietorship, or other structures. The selection process considers liability protection, tax implications, operational flexibility, and long‑term business goals to ensure the entity aligns with both local regulations and international standards.

  • DIAN registration and tax ID setup
We manage the full process of registering with Colombia’s tax authority (DIAN) and obtaining a NIT (Número de Identificación Tributaria). This ensures that businesses are properly recognized for tax purposes, enabling them to issue invoices, comply with fiscal obligations, and operate legally in the Colombian market.

  • Chamber of Commerce registration
All businesses must be formally registered with the local Chamber of Commerce. We coordinate this process to secure the company’s commercial registration, establish its legal presence, and provide access to official certificates required for banking, contracting, and regulatory compliance.

  • Legal representation and compliance support
Ongoing legal representation is provided to meet Colombia’s statutory requirements, including the appointment of a local legal representative where necessary. We also deliver compliance support to ensure adherence to labor laws, corporate governance standards, and regulatory filings, reducing risk and safeguarding business credibility.
